Squier USA Stratocaster — Black/Rosewood
USA·c. 1990
Overview
A USA-made Squier Stratocaster, likely 1990, with an N9-prefixed serial number placed on the front of the headstock — an unusual detail from a brief and not-well-documented period in Fender's domestic Squier production. Fender's N-prefix serials follow their standard USA dating convention (N = 1990s), but the Squier branding on a US-built guitar from this era is uncommon, and the front-headstock serial placement is a genuine oddity even within that short window. Black body, white pickguard, rosewood fretboard, vintage-style 6-screw tremolo, sealed tuners. Plays as well as the spec suggests.
